Spices and herbs can make a huge difference in a dish. Not only do they enhance flavor, they also enhance aroma. These all have therapeutic qualities as well and different blends work synergistically.
When making your own blends, use smell to guide you, then taste. Use your instincts. Add one spice at a time. It can be quite fun to come up with new recipes and combinations!
I sometimes use “parts” in my recipe so you can adjust to whatever quantity you want to make.
