Big Ass Salad
2015-09-26 12:51:22
I make a huge salad once a week for dinner and save the left overs for other meals. Just keep your tomatoes separate (and out of the fridge), and add them in as you need them.

Ingredients
  1. Lettuce of your choice, washed and broken into bite sized pieces (branch out, iceberg lettuce isn't the only one!)
  2. Carrots, sliced
  3. Green Onions, chopped
  4. Red Bell Pepper, chopped
  5. Cucumber, sliced
  6. Cherry Tomatoes
  7. Radishes, sliced
  8. Grilled Steak, sliced
Instructions
  1. Wash all your veggies and prep.
  2. Put them in a large bowl and toss.
  3. Put in serving bowls or on a plate.
  4. Top with Salad Dressing of your choice (see Recipes)
  5. Place sliced grilled steak on top.
  6. Enjoy!
Notes
  1. You can use grilled chicken or fish instead of Steak. Or skip the meat altogether!
  2. You can use any veggies you want in this. Mix it up a bit. You could even mix in some grilled zucchini.
  3. You can also top with parmesan, feta, or gorgonzola cheese or ground/sliced nuts.
  4. Experiment with different lettuces: Romaine, Red or Green Leaf, Arugula, Radicchio, Endive, etc...
